CAT Catalytic Center receives its basic funding by the two partners RWTH Aachen University and Covestro. Project-related funding augments the financial basis of CAT Catalytic Center. The CAT Catalytic Center was founded in 2008 and is currently in the third phase after prolongation in 2012 and 2017.

Having initiated Dream Production, Dream Polymers, Dream Compounds and many other highly successful projects the cooperation was prolonged in 2012 and 2017.
